This holiday season, Prolific 1 employees worked together to donate more than 500 winter clothing items to local charities. Throughout the course of 4 weeks, our employees donated new and gently used clothing items to ConnectiKids, The Cornerstone Foundation, and the South Park Inn Homeless Shelter.
Each year, Prolific 1 seeks a different mission for holiday donations like food, toys or clothing to help those who need it most.

About ConnectiKids — CT-Kids.org
ConnectiKids Inc. is a nonprofit positive youth development organization that focuses on educating, enriching, and empowering Hartford’s youth. We work directly with two elementary schools, West Middle Community School and Michael D. Fox Elementary School, with students in grades kindergarten to eighth grade. We provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring and arts & enrichment throughout the academic year and summer program during summer break. With these programs we expose our students to new people, places, and experiences that aid in positive growth and development.

The Cornerstone Foundation is a faith ministry with a mission to keep all people safe, fed, housed and clothed. We provide help to the community with a soup kitchen, two shelters, a food pantry, clothing bank, youth/outreach center and many vital annual initiatives.

Cornerstone has provided food, clothing and shelter to those in need for over 35 years with the help of mostly all volunteers.
We have grown from a nightly homeless shelter at Sacred Heart Church’s former library, to a Soup Kitchen and now presently — five programs and ministries in five buildings in Rockville, Connecticut.

South Park Inn’s mission is to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness to improve their life situations by providing temporary and long-term housing, and supportive services. In addition, we advocate for solutions to homelessness.

South Park Inn is here to serve people lacking the means and wherewithal to provide for themselves the most basic of human needs: a safe place to live.
Our emergency shelter, veterans programs, respite, and supportive housing provide personalized support to each of the men, women and children that enter our doors. South Park Inn, in collaboration with other providers and resources, helps individuals and families as they overcome challenges and successfully find housing solutions appropriate to their needs.
